Dawson Alan Knox is an American football tight end for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL).

Dawson Knox was born on November 14, 1996, in Brentwood, Tennessee. He attended St. Paul Christian Academy and Brentwood Academy.

He played wide receiver and quarterback for the high school football team. However, during his senior season, he played in only one game due to an ankle injury.

He attended the University of Mississippi, where he joined the Ole Miss Rebels as a walk-on fullback in 2015. He played with the team till 2018. After his junior season in 2018, he decided to forgo his senior year and enter the 2019 NFL Draft.

In the third round with the 96th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, he was selected by the Buffalo Bills. On June 14, 2019, he signed his rookie contract, and caught his first NFL touchdown from Josh Allen in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
