After a thrilling, poignant storyline about Kiesha (Burgundi Baker) kidnapping and imprisonment at the hands of a sexual predator, as well as the shocking murder that upset the natural order of the series, The Chi ended its third and arguably best season so far on some pleasant notes.
Fans have been desperately clamoring for Keisha (Birgundi Baker) to get rescued from her kidnapper, Omari (Cedric Mays), for quite some time now and Episode 7, ‘A Stain’, finally delivered. In Episode 7, Ronnie (Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine) runs into Jada (Yolonda Ross) who inspires him to get sober and that motivates him to look harder for Keisha.

When the third season of The Chi premiered, viewers were glad to know that Kiesha had been turned into a recurring character. She had already received a track scholarship but was hesitant to leave the comfort of the town. For a second, it looked like her story would be of a young black girl making it big but then things took a turn for the worse.
