One killed in Thursday crash that shut down SH 249.

SH 249 in Grimes County was closed for several hours on Thursday due to a multi-vehicle collision that resulted in one fatality.

While Texas DPS looked into the incident, the road between TX 105 to CR 304 was shut down for a considerable amount of time.

On Thursday morning, at 10 a.m., the collision took place. There was an 18-wheeler, an SUV, and a pickup truck.

At this moment, DPS has not located any of the participants.
