Biography:

Tom Wlaschiha was born on June 20, 1973 in Dohna, East Germany. He went to New York as an exchange student at age 17. It was there that he studied English and acted in theater for a year. He also attended the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig afterwards where he continued his acting studies. He then began acting on German television in the mid 1990s.

He received his first leading role in the 2000 movie No One Sleeps. His international breakthrough came in the 2010s after landing the role of Jaqen H’ghar on Game of Thrones. He started playing the said character on the show’s second season. He reprised the role on the series’ Season 5 and 6. He also currently stars on the TV series Crossing Lines.
