The PGA Tour Championships have really attracted many golf greats. The Tour will not have been complete if Steve Flesch, the former four-time PGA Tour winner did not compete.

He finished the first three rounds at eight under par, three strokes behind leader and eventual winner Trevor Immelman. He shot a 78 when playing in the penultimate pairing, finishing six strokes back, yet he still managed to climb 28 positions in the rankings.
