As the sun began to set that fateful day, Robert Scott Cook was riding his bicycle westward on Jim Johnson Road, near Jap Tucker Road. In a horrifying turn of events, a late-model ashen-hued Ford F-150 pickup truck heartlessly struck him from behind. The callousness of the driver’s actions is compounded by the fact that they callously fled the scene, leaving Mr. Cook in desperate need of assistance.
