Shawn never wavered in his support when Jeff, a member of their family, passed away earlier this year. He helped their son Brandon through a difficult time by providing advice and encouragement. He made it a point to be there when Brandon went to college, outside of the football field, to show his undying dedication to the people who were important to him.
