Lee Rose was a prominent NBA coach.

He was the head coach of the 49ers men’s basketball team during its most successful era in its history.

Rose coached the 49ers to the 1976 NIT Finals, the 1977 NCAA Final Four, and a 72-18 record over three years.

He pushed the every team he managed to unprecedented heights and firmly established them on the national stage.

His past team Charlotte, had a.800 winning percentage and averaged 24.0 victories throughout Rose’s three seasons.

Charlotte later went 40-2 at home during that stretch, with an average single-season win-loss record of 24 wins and 4.5 defeats.

Lee Rose cause of death

In 2015, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

He shattered his femur and suffered spinal cord injury in a fall shortly after his diagnosis, leaving Rose in a wheelchair in his later years.

Though his cause of death has not bein revealed, Rose was suspected to have died from complications from all his medical problems.
