A bicyclist died following a hit-and-run crash in Webster earlier this week.
Pamela Rubenstein, 57, of Webster, and another cyclist were riding bikes on the south shoulder of Klem Road, near Five Mile Line Road, around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday when an eastbound vehicle struck Rubenstein from behind, according to Webster Police Chief Dennis Kohlmeier.
The involved vehicle left the scene, he said.
Rubenstein was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital following the crash. She died from her injuries on Thursday, police said.
The driver and vehicle involved in the crash have both been identified, according to police. Kohlmeier said police recovered the vehicle earlier this week. No other information was immediately released.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
