On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, Christopher Dwyer, a business owner, an artist, and a locksmith from Florida, New York, passed away unexpectedly. He was 24.
Chris was musically-inclined and possessed a natural artistic gift. All those who met him were instantly charmed by his infectious sense of humor and infectious grin. Chris had a knack for picking out great tunes and telling hilarious anecdotes in the car.
He was born in Livingston, New Jersey to parents Edmund and Carla Rossi Dwyer on August 7, 1998. His parents, Ed and Carla Dwyer, and sister, Alessandra Dwyer, as well as his fiancée of seven years, Sophia Auteri, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends, survive him. Chris’s paternal grandparents, Carla and Uranio Rossi, and maternal grandmother, Margaret Dwyer, all passed away before he was born.
Chris’s positive influence on those around him cannot be adequately described. The wonderful man he became was a product of his singular character and passions.
On Friday, December 30 from 4-7PM, friends and family can pay their respects at the T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, New York 10921. On Friday at 6:30 PM, there will be a memorial prayer service at the funeral home.
