Biography:

Nazneen Contractor was born on August 26, 1982 in Mumbai, India. She first came to public attention after being cast as Layla Hourani in the Canadian television series The Border, a role she played from 2008 to 2009.

In 2010, she began to play the role of Suneetha in another series, Rules of Engagement. That same year, she joined the cast of the hit series 24 in its eight season, playing Kayla Hassan.

She then went on to venture into film when she appeared in a number of movies including Seance The Summoning, Pegasus Vs. Chimera, and recently starred as Rima Harewood in Star Trek Into Darkness.
