The guy who was slain on Raven Avenue Wednesday morning, southwest of the city center, has been identified by Ottawa police.
Around 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday, locals reported a shooting near Raven and Carlington parks to police, according to a press release from the police department.
Police said they discovered the body of a 47-year-old male and opened a homicide investigation.
The victim was revealed to be an Ottawa resident named Michael Quattrocchi on Thursday.

According to police, the investigation is ongoing and there are no suspects in custody as of Wednesday. On Thursday, they issued an appeal for anyone with nearby surveillance video to come forward.
