Malia Obama is the elder daughter of former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle. She was born on July 4, 1998 at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She has one younger sister, Natasha, also known as Sasha. The girls’ lives changed completely once their dad became the president and they too were elevated to the status of “First Daughters.” She attended the Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. where she was also active in soccer, dance and drama. She graduated in 2016 and spent the summer working as an intern in the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, Spain. In 2017, Malia took admission in Harvard University and she graduated from Harvard in 2021.

Malia Obama was in a relationship with a British guy named Rory Farquharson. He was also a student in Harvard. In 2022, she was romantically linked to music producer Dawit Eklund.
