Madelyn Cline was born on December 21, 1997 in Charleston, South Carolina, U.S. Prior to pursuing an acting career full-time, Cline appeared in television commercials when she was younger. In her later life, she originally planned to attend Coastal Carolina University. She decided to drop out to become an actress. She first acted in a short film in 2009.

Her first movie role was in 2011’s 23rd Psalm: Redemption, a low-budget film. Years later, she appeared in the film Savannah Sunrise. At the same time, she also played Taylor Watts in some episodes of Vice Principals. She next played a recurring character as Jessica in The Originals. She recently rose to fame for her role as Sarah Cameron in Netflix’s Outer Banks.
