On January 10, 2023, Larry Sossamon was reported dead as a a result of a a crash involving a semi-truck and a motorcycle.
According to the officers, the event occurred in the late afternoon on State Street near Route 54.
At the moment the specifics are unknown, police think that Larryosamon, 75, was riding a motorcycle when it passed through the Route 54 and State Street crossroads. As he was doing this, a semi-truck struck him, causing fatal injuries to Sossamon.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Larry Sosamon. Larry died doing what he loved; being out on the road, opening up the throttle on his Harley, probably with a huge smile on his face.He was passionate about many things; Chief among them, his family, his friends, and his work. He was always available for a conversation over coffee, an infinite wealth of knowledge, and a helper to all who knew him.
We will not mourn a life half lived. He did and accomplished everything he ever set his mind to. Even at the age of 75 he was an unstoppable force, always ready for the next adventure.
Husband/Dad/Grandpa, the impact you made on all our lives will never be forgotten. Your passion and spirit will be carried on by all of us who knew and loved you.
