Kamar de los Reyes, a Puerto Rican actor, passed away at the age of 56 on December 25, 2023. He was best known for his role as Antonio Vega on ABC’s soap opera, One Life to Live, from 1995 until 2009. He is also known for lending his voice to the Call of Duty games, portrayed as Raul Menendez. Kamar’s last television role was in All American, and he also starred in The Rookie as Ryan Caradine. He also played Jobe in the hit series, Sleepy Hollow.
Kamar was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1967 and grew up in Las Vegas. He began his career in the series, The Valley of the Dolls, in 1994. He starred in films like The Cell and Salt and was working on the upcoming Hulu series, Washington Black, which stars Sterling K. Brown.
Kamar’s wife, Sherri Saum, is also an actress who starred in the Freeform series, The Fosters, where she portrayed Lena Adams Fosters. They met while filming One Life to Live together and were romantically involved with one another. The couple lived in Los Angeles and have twin sons, John and Michael, aged 9 and 26 respectively.
