Tony Sneidar, Chief of the Fire Department, has the following statement to make: The passing of John Goertzen, Battalion Chief of the Salina Fire Department, took place on March 17, 2023.
It is with deep regret that we share this news with you. Those who were familiar with him expressed their gratitude for his service. We ask his family and friends to please accept our deepest condolences in this time of loss.
During this trying time, we would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences and thoughts of comfort to his family, as well as to all of his friends and coworkers who knew and cared about him.
