According to TMZ, Chad Atkins, the co-founder of a well-known animal rescue organization in Los Angeles, California, passed away abruptly at home from “heart failure.” He was 44.
The group said on Sunday, “Today our hearts are terribly heavy and we are at a complete loss for words.
“Paw Works and the entire world have lost a very remarkable individual who dedicated his entire life to protecting animals. Through his kindness, sassy wit, smile, and unwavering devotion, he was able to save numerous people.
The company declared that Atkins passed away from “heart failure.”
“Chad Atkins, the cofounder and soul of PawWorks, passed away. As a member of our Paw Works family, we are devastated to inform you of his passing. He abruptly went away at home from heart failure, leaving behind his son Sebastian and his husband Bryan Diaz.
After Atkin’s passing, his partner, Bryan Diaz, also issued a statement.
“I never wanted to see that, but my lovely man did good work,” she said. I can’t think of anyone about whose accomplishments I would be more ecstatic than he is, Diaz remarked.
“Chad improved me as a father, man, and person. Even when I was too afraid to try, he pushed me to take chances. He did all of the international trips and cuisine sampling. He got it to our house before moving on.
