Haruki, representing SDG Honda Racing, recently clinched third place at the renowned Suzuka-8 Hours earlier this month. Post-accident, he received immediate medical attention at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit’s dedicated medical facility.
The Asia Road Championship committee shared, “With deep sorrow, we announce that despite relentless efforts from the medical team, Haruki Noguchi passed away on August 16.” They extended heartfelt condolences to his loved ones.
Following the accident, Haruki was under intensive care in a prominent hospital located in Indonesia’s Nusa Tenggara region for three days.
Due to this tragic incident at Turn 10, officials decided to cancel the Asia Superbike 1000cc race.
Having made a remarkable entry into the motorcycling arena with his 2021 victory in the Superstock 600 at the All Japan Road Racing Championships, Noguchi’s journey began at a tender age of five. His parents reminisced, “From the age of five, Haruki embarked on his motorcycle journey, bringing immense joy and thrill to us all.” They conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stood by their son.
