The Krewe community mourn the passing of Melissa Cox.Melissa passed away on Saturday, according to a message posted on the Krewe du Sauvage – Community Outreach Facebook page.
We share this with our Krewe family and neighborhood today with a heavy heart. We lost a beautiful lady yesterday, Melissa Cox, as some of you may already be aware,” the statement said.
Her death’s reason wasn’t made public.
Since joining the krewe several years ago, Melissa and her husband Clinton have become close friends with many other members.
