According to reports, Matt Santella passed away suddenly and tragically on March 7th evening.
Matty has been happily married to Alisha for 23 years. They have spent more than 15 years living in Worcester, Massachusetts. Early in their 20s, they received two lovely children into their family: Mia, now 15 years old, and Nico, now 12 years old. Alisha and Matty were thrilled to share the news of the impending birth of their third child, due in early April 2023.
Matty suddenly passed away on March 7th evening, leaving Alisha, Mia, and Nico without their adored father and provider.
Matty was a fun-loving energy who made everything around him more lively. He was a loving parent who worked tirelessly as an electrician.
His love of sports, especially hockey, led him to pass on his knowledge to Nico, who as a result became not only a fantastic player but also a member of a team that is nationally ranked and competes in tournaments across North America. The Santella family is very active in the sports community. He was a wonderful father and educator for Nico and Mia. On their father-daughter “date nights,” Matty and Mia enjoyed going shopping and eating out frequently.

Matty also loved to play golf, listen to music, dance, and cook, with pizza being his speciality.
Friends will recall Matty as the life of the party, interacting with not only his own kids but also the kids of all of his friends. He made it a point to speak to everyone because he was always curious about them.
