I am the only physician in Wisconsin triple-trained in family medicine (board certified), integrative medicine (board certified) and functional medicine (certified practitioner). I lead integrative and functional medicine training for faculty, residents and medical students at Aurora Family Medicine Residency in Milwaukee, WI. As medical director of Aurora Wiselives Center I lead a team of phenomenal practitioners in our mission to address whole health - body, mind and spirit - and to dig deeper for root causes of chronic, complex illness. We offer primary care for all ages, integrative and functional medicine consults, osteopathic manipulative therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, craniosacral therapy and nutrition consults. Aurora Wiselives was created 20 years ago before the words "patient-centered care" were a catch-phrase, and we have been leading the way ever since. It's rewarding to see challenging conditions (fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic Lyme and tick-borne illness, autoimmune disease, mental health issues and more) improve through basic lifestyle change, nutrient repletion, toxin elimination and protocol tweaks based on individual genetic variants. My work is rewarding and I can't imagine practicing medicine any other way.
