Dr. Eric Haas, MD – Houston, TX

Dr. Eric Haas, Fellow of American College of Surgeons, graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston where he earned his M.D. and was recognized for outstanding achievement by induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Haas commenced his General Surgery Internship at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and completed his General Surgery Residency at St Joseph Medical Center. He went on to receive his fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital and The University of Texas Hospitals.
Dr. Eric Haas is a board-certified Colorectal Surgeon and is a recognized leader and innovator in laparoscopic and minimally invasive colorectal surgery. Dr. Haas is the Chief of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital and also serves as the Program Director of the Minimally Invasive Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship Program at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.

He is internationally recognized as an expert in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery for the treatment of colon and rectal cancer as well as complex diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's Disease.
