Dr. Cecil Hollen, DO – Lexington, KY

Dr. Cecil Hollen is a physiatrist in Lexington, KY and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital and Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Hollen obtained his board certification through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is a graduate of the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (KYCOM) where he also completed an additional year of education as a member of the national undergraduate fellow association (NUFA) for teaching osteopathic manipulative techniques and treatments. At KYCOM, he developed his enthusiasm for human anatomy, nervous system, musculoskeletal medicine and movement. Following medical school, Dr. Hollen completed his 4-year residency in physical medicine rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Kentucky college of medicine where he served as chief resident. Upon completion of residency, he then remained as faculty at the University of Kentucky and currently serves as an assistant professor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has recently completed his certification in Performing Arts Medicine through the Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA). Dr. Hollen primarily works in the UK PM&R outpatient clinic currently at Good Samaritan Hospital primarily evaluating and treating nonsurgical orthopedic conditions. His interests include performance arts medicine, osteopathic manipulation, neural hydrodissection, ultrasound guided injection techniques and electrodiagnostic medicine.
