While undercover, Perry can normally be found with his owners, Phineas and Ferb. As their pet, he lives up to the expectations for a platypus and “doesn’t do much.” Even though Candace would describe him as just a mindless, smelly animal, Perry still shows signs of intelligence when he’s pretending to be a normal pet.
” He is a platypus, they don’t do much. ” Perry the Platypus, code named Agent P, or simply Perry, is Phineas and Ferb ‘s pet platypus, who, unbeknownst to his owners, lives a double life as a secret agent for the O.W.C.A. (The Organization Without a Cool Acronym a.k.a.
Phineas and Ferb named him “Bartholomew” at first, but later changed it to Perry. ( Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension)
Phineas cares very deeply about Perry, like any other boy and his pet. It was Phineas who noticed Perry at the O.W.C.A. animal shelter, and has been his owner for five years. Phineas is completely unaware of Perry’s secret life as an agent, and often says that he “doesn’t do much”.
What is Perry’s dream about Phineas and Ferb?
Perry glad to see Phineas back with him. One great example is Perry’s dream in which he loses each of his owners (” Phineas and Ferb Get Busted! “). He wakes up abruptly, hoping it’s not true. Phineas reassures him it was probably just a dream and they go back to sleep in his bed, both smiling.
He was also disappointed when Perry still decided to go off secretly (although Phineas was unaware that Perry was going to surrender himself to Doofenshmirtz so that he would not hurt the boys) and sadly telling him to go ahead and leave as he lost trust in him.
By the end of the day, Phineas apologized to Perry, they reconciled and Phineas’s faith in Perry was restored as the reason Perry had to hide his identity to prevent being relocated and never see Phineas or Ferb again.
Perry is very protective of Phineas, as well as with the rest of the Flynn-Fletcher family. If he is ever in danger, Perry will stop at nothing to save him (” Journey to the Center of Candace “). He was quite upset to be leaving Phineas and the family in order to work on a new nemesis (” Oh, There You Are, Perry “), and was also upset and regretful when he reveals to Phineas his secret identity, causing Phineas to become angry and feel used.
He was hurt when Dr. Doofenshmirtz-2 stated that Perry had been using him and his family as a cover.
Phineas was worried when Perry went missing in order to fight The Regurgitator, not understanding what had happened (” Oh, There You Are, Perry “). He could also recognize Perry from other platypuses even though they all looked the same (with a few exceptions, such as a platypus with a beret and a duck with a beaver-tail taped onto it). This shows the closeness he had to his pet.

How long have Ferb and Perry been together?
They have been together for five years. Ferb’s picture was put in a locket that the boys gave Perry when they got him. It is possible that Ferb is more aware of Perry’s double life as a secret agent than Phineas is, but it has not been confirmed by him ( Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension ).
Perry’s Impression of Ferb. Perry is very protective of his owners and will take immediate action if they are threatened (” Journey to the Center of Candace “). He was very upset when he was temporarily reassigned to a new nemesis and looked like he wouldn’t get to live with Phineas and Ferb anymore (” Oh, There You Are, Perry “).
Perry has a locket with pictures of Phineas, Ferb, and himself in it. It was given to him by his owners. He apparently modified it to make it into a key that will allow Phineas and Ferb to help him in an emergency ( Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension ).
He was also quite distressed when he was almost relocated because his secret identity was uncovered. Perry had a nightmare about being relocated once, and woke up quite anxious. He was noticeably relieved when he found out that it was only a dream (” Phineas and Ferb Get Busted! “).
When they traveled to the 2nd Dimension, Ferb didn’t seem as shocked as Phineas that Perry was a secret agent, and even defended him, although Ferb tends not to show much emotion even when he feels it. He and his second-dimension counterpart did, however, shed a tear when Phineas-2 hugged Perry, obviously touched.
Ferb holds Perry. Since Ferb doesn’t talk very often, his relationship with Perry is shown more through actions than what he says. Ferb seems to share close to the same relationship as Phineas does with Perry.
He and his second-dimension counterpart did, however, shed a tear when Phineas-2 hugged Perry, obviously touched. Phineas is much more upset by comparison, but Ferb doesn’t stop him from sending Perry away when he tries to sneak off again.
