Wauwatosa tragic accident; medical examiner identifies DPW driver
The Milwaukee DPW driver who perished in a violent collision on Tuesday, December 13 in Wauwatosa has been named by the medical examiner as 64-year-old Denise Durrah.
The Milwaukee DPW driver who perished in a violent collision on Tuesday, December 13 in Wauwatosa has been named by the medical examiner as 64-year-old Denise Durrah.
The collision occurred close to Mayfair Road and Wisconsin Avenue, involving ten vehicles.
According to Wauwatosa Police Chief James MacGillis, a Milwaukee DPW truck’s driver struck some parked cars. The three fatalities included the 64-year-old driver.
The medical examiner on Wednesday identified the other two as Milwaukee residents Paul Woida, 85, and Amy Miller, 40.
Woida, according to the medical examiner, passed away there and then despite being pulled from his car before it caught fire. At the scene, the DPW driver also passed away.
Two more, according to the investigators, were transported to the hospital.
