Border patrol officials at Carrizo Springs are mourning the death of one of their own.
Agent Hunter Labombard of the Del Rio Border Patrol Sector lost his life on Wednesday night in a tragic accident.
Border Patrol Union of Del Rio posted the information on their Twitter page.
They say agent Labombard died in a off-duty accident. He was working under a compassionate detail to the Burke Border Patrol Station in New York at the time of his passing.
According to a GoFundMe page set up to help the family, his wife Zoe is expecting their first child in less than eight weeks.
