Anna Shay, the 62-year-old actress of the Netflix reality series “Bling Empire,” has passed away.
In a statement published by Netflix with USA TODAY, Shay’s family revealed that she had passed away.
Anna Shay, a devoted mother, grandmother, brilliant personality, and our brightest beam of sunshine, went suddenly at the young age of 62 following a stroke, her family said with sadness.
“Anna gave us many lessons about enjoying the finer things in life and not taking life too seriously. We will always mourn her, but we will never forget her impact on our lives.
The three-season Netflix series, which debuted in 2021, follows a group of obscenely wealthy Asian American socialites in Los Angeles as they show off their lavish lifestyles, which include private jets and Botox parties.
The first season features a love triangle between self-made businesswoman Kelly Mi Li, model Kevin Kreider, and her ex-boyfriend, “Power Rangers” actor Andrew Gray, as well as the petty rivalry between affluent heiress Anna Shay and international fashionista Christine Chiu.
