Axel Wilson Arthur Disasi Mhakinis Belho (born 11 March 1998) is a French professional footballer who currently plays for Ligue 1 club Monaco as well as the France national team.
Disasi, a Paris FC development academy product, made his professional debut for the club in a 1-0 loss against Lens on December 11, 2016. In 2016, he was traded to Reims. Disasi completed a €13 million transfer from Reims to Monaco on August 7, 2020. He signed a 5-year contract with the club.[4] On August 23, Disasi made his debut against his previous team Reims in a league match. As the game finished 2-2, he scored a goal.
Disasi was born in France and is of Congolese and Angolan origin. He was selected for the DR Congo U20s for the 2017 Jeux de la Francophonie. Disasi was a French youth international who was called up to France’s 2022 FIFA World Cup team on November 14, 2022, replacing the injured Presnel Kimpembe. He made his France national team debut in a 1-0 loss to Tunisia in the last group-stage encounter. Disasi became the first French international debutant since 1966 at a World Cup.
