Álvaro Morte is a Spanish actor whose career started in the 2000s. He started acting on the Spanish screen and became known for his roles in some television series. These include Planta 25 and Cuéntame cómo pasó. In 2012, he starred in the Spanish series Bandolera. He then gained wider recognition in Spain for starring in the TV shows Amar en tiempos revueltos and El secreto de Puente Viejo. In 2017, Morte achieved further success for playing Sergio “El Profesor” Marquina in the acclaimed Spanish series Money Heist. At the same time, he made his cinematic debut in the 2018 film Mirage. Soon he’ll make his Hollywood debut starring as Logain Ablar in the upcoming web series The Wheel of Time.
