She ended up landing the starring role of Sue Lor. The film was released in 2008 before getting a wider release in January 2009. It also received positive reception from critics and audiences alike. With the film’s box-office success, the actress gained substantial attention for her work there. Her next film role was in 2011’s Night Club, co-starring Mickey Rooney and Natasha Lyonne. In 2016, she played a small role in the superhero film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
